Wasps

Wasps can be a real problem if they nest near your home or workplace. Unlike bees, wasps can sting multiple times and pose a real risk to those who suffer from a wasp sting allergy. The nests are found in sheltered parts of buildings or trees and can contain thousands of wasps by the end of summer. They can be very aggressive if disturbed, so removing them should really be left to a professional company. The wasp nest is an amazing feat of engineering constructed from wood which the wasps strip from fence panels and garden sheds etc. The queen wasp starts the process from scratch in the spring after hibernation and the nest will grow as the number of wasps increases through the summer.

Signs of a Wasp infestation:

• High number of Wasps flying around.
• Look for nests in sheltered areas such as lofts etc.
• A number of wasps congregating around food etc.
