Moles

The problem with Moles is that the chances are, you will never see them. We can only see the damage they cause. Moles are not a rodent, they are an insectavore related to the bat and the shrew, feeding mainly on earthworms but will also eat snails, slugs, millipedes etc. They very rarely eat vegetation but can damage garden plants by creating air pockets around their roots and of course create extensive cosmetic damage to lawns. They prefer moist areas where grubs and worms will be more plentiful.

Signs of a Mole infestation:

• Mounds on the lawn.
• Raised ridges in flower beds etc.
